My Interpretation of the Iron Man Trailer

Okay, from what I can make out from it. It start’s off with Tony Starke introducing some new piece of defense technology to a group of military personnel. Then it flashes to him in Vegas, I believe, and a reporter from Vanity Fair magazine approaches him, I think he says to his collegue “She’s cute”, then you can hear what he says there.

Davnici of our time, etc…”Merchant of Death?” “That’s not bad”, got a real kick out of that one, as you could hear from the audience as well.

Then it shows him in a convoy of humvees in the Iraqi desert (or somewhere similar, representing the “Gulf War” period).   Whilst playing the AC/DC on the radio, the soldier sitting next to him, “Would it be cool if I could get a picture with you?” And Tony Starke says, “Yes, that would be VERY cool.”

Then they pose together, and Starke says, (this is the part I’m trying to make out in the incoherentness of it all) “I wanna see this on your MySpace page.” And as the soldier is doing the “peace” symbol, Starke says, ” Please, no gang signs.”  And the solidler puts his fingers down, and Starke says, “No, leave it up….blah blah blah” Can’t figure out what he says after that.

Then they get attacked, he’s running into the desert, the next thing you know, he’s waking up in a cave somewhere, and apparently the village doctor has healed him and saved his life.

Starke says, “What the hell did you do to me?”
Doctor,” What did I do? I saved your life.” Then he says he’s seen many wounds like his, and stated that he made that device on his chest, that it was attached to a car battery, and it’s keeping the shrapnel from entering his heart…he throws him a gar of shrapnel that WAS removed, and Starke looks at it.

Then it goes into a montage of what Starke is “building” and the Doctor asks him, “What are you working on, Starke?”  And Tony Starke says, “I’m workin’ on somethin’ big.”

Then you see that big metal door bein’  pounded on, and the  enemy soliders  looking at it with horror, but totally ready for him when he comes through the door.

What was AWESOME about this part, is that the “pounding” was entirely in SYNC with the start of the Black Sabbath song!!   He BUSTS through the door, and the soliders are firing at him.

This part is a bit dark in the film, however, I think a soldier charges Starke, and Starke knocks him to the side, winds up getting one of his mechanical arms lodged into the cave wall, and he’s desperately trying to pull it back out, this was funny as heck, and then to make it funnier….a soldier takes a side-arm, appraoches Tony Starke, and fires at Starkes helmet head at point-blank range, it richochets OFF the impervious armor, and kills the soldier!!

Then,  you see Starke make his way to the entrance of the cave, you can see better this time, and he has flame thrower hands, fries everyone at the outpost…then it shows different collages of scenes from the movie, then it shows a couple of suits he’s been working on, then the FINAL current suit, and everyone just goes APE over this current suit, probably due to the EXACT likeness of the suit in the comic book!!!!

Then it flashed him with the Iron Man guantlet.

THEN, it shows the sky, Tony Starke in his Iron Man suit flying up, the Jets behind his lead, flying in patterns, while it revs up and then goes to the “Metal Press Stamp” banging against the metal plate, and you hear “I AM IRON MAN!” from the song.

This never gets old watching, and it gives me goosebumps numerous times.
